Ft. Walton Beach, FL : I had to go down to Florida for work, and only got to spend a few hours in the evening on the beach. The beach is on the pan handle of Florida. It was in the low 70's and the water was cold. (April 08)

Kite festival : The Kite Festival was held near the base Washington Monument on the WWII Memorial side. There were a lot of people, and you had to make sure you didn't get tangled in kite lines. One note: It is very hard to take pictures of kites in bright light, I had to set the shutter speed to near max and close the apature down all the way. For the first time though, the pictures aren't to bad.
